These two photographs are my final pieces for the shadows project. Throughout this subject I have used the same candle (holder) and background so through the series of shoots I can show how I have improved. My 1st picture on the left has the whole candle holder in the photograph but behind has the shadow I chose this photo because even though it is took straight on, the candle isn't in the middle of the picture and doesn't have just a plain background because it has the shadow clearly behind. Secondly, the picture on the right is quite close up and I used photo shop to brighten up the brightness slightly- I find this made the photograph more effective and makes it show off all the stars in the candle holder, also the candle light is shining through.
I chose these two pictures because in the first, I used photo shop to change the colour to black and white because Paris photography is originally black and white. Then in my second picture, I decided to photo shop a group of tourists in so I could show the scale of the Eiffel Tower, and I also think this picture works better in colour.
